Our God-Daughter, Elaine & her husband tried for several years to have children. They went to countless doctors to try to find out why they weren't able to conceive. After numerous tries and more testing they were told that they most likely would never be able to. They were trying to accept the fact that they would never have a child. During Chrissy's last week of life, while in a coma, Elaine & Dave asked if they could have a moment alone with Chrissy. They asked her that when she went to heaven and became an Angel if she would help them have a baby. After Chrissy passed away and what would have been Chrissy's 23rd. birthday, Elaine called me and told me that she just found out that day that her & Dave were expecting. They believed it was with Chrissy's help. Later they found out that they were expecting twins. During her pregnancy, she was told by the doctors that there were complications, that Baby B was not developing and would put baby A at risk. The doctors wanted to abort baby B. Elaine & Dave would not do it. They said that their miracle happened for a reason and it wasn't just so one of their babies would have to die. They stood their ground and kept both babies. Although Elaine did have complications during her pregnancy, she gave birth to two healthy babies. Baby A was a boy and Baby B, that the doctors told her wouldn't survive was a girl. They asked Chrissy's sister, Brittany to be Godmother to the baby girl. Before the twins were a year old Elaine was pregnant again with their third baby. They know that their children are a blessing from God, but they also thank Chrissy for putting in a good word from them.
